Pool opening dates

With the weather warming up, we know residents are looking forward to getting back into the water, and we can now announce the opening dates for Council’s three swimming pools.
✅ Bonalbo Pool is expected to open on Friday, 25 September.
✅ Kyogle and Woodenbong pools are expected to open on Friday, 2 October
The opening of the Kyogle and Woodenbong pools has been delayed due to wet weather disruptions to the pools’ maintenance programs.
Work to re-paint the two pools commenced during the off-season under favourable forecasts, however the exceptionally wet conditions during winter have slowed progress and extended the curing time required for the new pool coatings.
Council would like to thank everyone for their understanding as we complete the work and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another great swimming season soon.
