Rates notices are issued by Council in July each year. Rates instalments are due on the following dates:
- 31 August
- 30 November
- 28 February
- 31 May

On-line Payment options
Council’s Online Services – new direct payment facility
Council is continuing to improve our online services for ratepayers and residents.
We currently provide the ability to pay your rates and debtor accounts directly from Council’s website.
Note: Council only accepts Master Card and Visa credit card payments through this service. All payments attract a 0.6% surcharge.

To pay your rates/water notice using your Visa or Mastercard, *credit card, click on the following link and you will be transferred to the secure POSTbillpay payment service. https://www.postbillpay.com.au/
Your Billpay Code and Reference Number can be found next to the POSTbillpay logo on your rates and charges notice.
* A credit card surcharge of 1% will apply when using the POSTbillpay service
Call 13 18 16 to pay your rates and charges using your **credit card (Visa or Mastercard only) 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. **A credit surcharge of 1% will apply. Your POSTbillpay Billpay code and Reference Number can be found next to the POSTbillpay logo on your rates and charges notice.
Payment via B-PAY
Payments can be made using B-Pay from your online banking service. Simply quote Biller Code: 434415 along with your eight digit customer reference number, amount and bank account details.
Payment via Direct Debit
This payment option is a debit transaction transferred directly from your nominated bank account. You can authorise Kyogle Council to automatically debit your account in annual, quarterly or fortnightly instalments.
To register as a Direct Debit customer, you need to download the Direct Debit Request Form below and return to Council by mail, fax or in person. This form can also be obtained below or by telephoning (02) 6632 1611 (during business hours).

Council’s Administration Building
Present your rates notice and payment to one of Council’s officers at the Administration Building in Stratheden Street, Kyogle. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, money order, EFTPOS, or credit card (a credit card surcharge of 0.6% will apply).
Take your rates and charges notice to any Post Office to pay using cash, cheque, or EFTPOS (debit cards only). Credit card payments are not accepted.

Mail your cheque or money order, payable to Kyogle Council, along with the bottom portion of your notice to:
