BreastScreen van in Kyogle

The BreastScreen NSW North Coast mobile unit will be returning to Kyogle for a four week visit from 30 September until 21 October. Next stop will be Bonalbo 21 October – 27 October 2020. Appointments are now open for booking. One in seven women in NSW will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. The earlier a cancer is detected, the greater the likelihood of successful treatment. Film making workshop

Kyogle Youth Action will host a three day Film Making Workshop as part of its free School Holiday Program. It will run from 10am-3pm from Wednesday 30 September to Friday 2 October and is open to interested young people aged 12-18. Day one of the workshop will involve participants writing the screenplay and developing their own characters. Kyogle Youth Action will be running a Food Handling Certificate Course on Wednesday 7 October 2020 as part of its school holiday program. The course is open to young people aged 12-18 and provides a nationally recognised certificate for Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety and allows graduates to work in the retail, hospitality, transport and distributions sectors. Kyogle Youth Action will hold a Young Women's Walk on Thursday 8 October as part of its free school holiday program. The guided bush walk and activities in the Border Ranges National Park is open to young people aged 12-18 years of age. A free lunch and transport will be provided. The event will run from 10am-4pm. Mobile Service Centre in Kyogle
