Applications now open for Community Building Partnership grants

Applications opened on Monday, 16 May, for the State Government’s 2022 Community Building Partnership (CBP) Grants.
This popular small grants program, which has been running since 2009, is open to incorporated not-for-profit community organisations and local councils. They are able to apply for grants of between $5,000 and $150,000, with the average grant awarded around $20,000.
CBP will consider funding requests for projects involving:
  • capital works including construction of new community infrastructure as well as refurbishment, repair and maintenance of existing community infrastructure. (Capital works are: improvements to the land or building, or freestanding equipment that will be fixed or installed to the land or building.)
  • the purchase of freestanding equipment with a minimum individual asset value of $5,000 or more.
Applicants should read the program guidelines to ensure their club or organisation and proposed project are eligible.
The Department of Premier and Cabinet strongly advises applicants not to leave the lodgement of applications until the last minute. Applications close at 5pm, Friday 10 June 2022. For more information including program guidelines, follow this link.
