Deer
Deer are a major emerging pest problem, causing damage both to the natural environment and agricultural businesses. Populations are expanding and we need your help to prevent deer establishing in the Kyogle local government area.
Deer can cause fatal car accidents, threaten World Heritage areas, destroy crops, damage fences, spread ticks, and compete with livestock and wildlife for food. We don’t want them here!
Please report ANY sightings of deer in the Kyogle local government area, or in any neighbouring Shires. For further information on how to monitor for, and report any sightings of, feral deer, download this landholder’s guide.
What can you do?
Please report ANY sightings of deer in the Kyogle local government area or on the Queensland/Tweed border to 1300 795 299 and enter the location into Feral Deer Scan.
