The Kyogle Readers and Writers is bringing Rick Morton, one of Australia’s best long-form journalists, to Kyogle on Saturday, 9 November, to discuss his new book Mean Streak.
He will be joined on stage at the Kyogle Memorial Institute Hall in conversation with Melissa Lucashenko, a Walkley and Miles Franklin award winning author.
Mean Streak tells the story of robodebt, described by a Royal Commission Report as a “massive failure of public administration’ caused by ‘venality, incompetence and cowardice’.
Doors will open at 1.45pm, start time is at 2pm, and tickets are available through TryBooking and on the door if not sold out.
