CLEAN UP AUSTRALIA DAY 2022 REGISTRATIONS OFFICIALLY OPEN

Clean Up Australia Day is being held on Sunday, 6 March 2022, with Schools Clean Up Day being held on Friday, 4 March 2022.

Clean Up Australia Day and Kyogle Council are encouraging community groups, organisations and groups of friends and families to get involved and improve our environment by cleaning up a local park, playground, sporting ground, waterway or any other area polluted by litter, on Clean Up Australia Day.

All you need to do is select a location in our local government area to clean up, then register your event on the Clean Up Australia Day website by following this link.

All community-based participants receive a free Clean Up Kit containing gloves, bags and other resources, with packs for families or groups available. Any waste that you collect during your Clean Up Australia Day event can be dropped off at the Kyogle Waste Facility for a discounted disposal fee if your event is registered. Please contact the Kyogle Waste Facility before visiting the site to drop off collected rubbish.

Clean Up Australia Day is the opportunity to do some good for our environment by rolling up our sleeves, getting out there and taking action to clean up litter. We encourage any form of action you can take within your local community.
