The BreastScreen NSW North Coast mobile unit will be returning to Kyogle for a three week visit from 16 September until 8 October 2019.
Appointments are now open for booking.
BreastScreen NSW is a free breast screening program. The earlier a cancer is detected, the greater the likelihood of successful treatment.
The BreastScreen NSW program recommends women aged 50 to 74 have a mammogram every two years, however all women over 40 are eligible for a free screening mammogram.
A GP referral is not necessary; appointments take only 20 minutes. The BreastScreen program on the North Coast also offers free screening appointments all year round at its fixed sites located at Tweed Heads and Lismore.
To book a mammogram call 13 20 50 or book online by visiting www.breastscreen.nsw.gov.au
