The Painted Years is more than an exhibition, it’s also a celebration of Anthea Moffatt’s long involvement in the creative arts.
The local artist is turning 90 this year and her exhibition at Council’s Roxy Gallery features a new body of work which reflects her life’s journey.
It tells her story, and looks back on the many places lived and the fond links to those places.
A Kyogle resident for many years, Anthea has been involved in both group and solo exhibitions at the Roxy Gallery over a long period.
Her works have been enjoyed and purchased by many.
The official opening of The Painted Years will take place on Saturday, 3 September from 2-4 pm and will include an artist’s talk and a lots of birthday cheer.
This exhibition will be on show from September 1 to October 9.
