2022 West of the Range Australia Day festivities will once again be held in the grounds behind the Bonalbo Bowling and Recreation Clubhouse starting at 10am.

The festivities will include barefoot bowls, an Ambrose golf competition, tennis and a jumping castle at the pool.

There will be a free sausage sizzle from 11am (behind the bowling club) and the official ceremony including the presentation of the annual Australia Day Awards will kick off at 1.15pm and will include a Welcome to Country.

Former local GP Dr Trevor Tierney OAM  will be the official Australia Day guest.

A cane toad muster will also be held on the day and there will be prizes for King Toad, Queen Toad and Top Tadpole plus a gumboot toss and a tug of war competitions.

In line with Australia Day celebrations across the Kyogle LGA, entry to the Bonalbo pool will be free on the day .
