The NSW Department of Primary Industries will hold a regional forum about On-Farm Carbon Opportunities at the Kyogle Bowling Club on Thursday, 27 April from 9.15am to 3.30pm.
This is a free event that focuses on practical on-farm carbon management and carbon markets.
Participants will hear from NSW DPI scientists, carbon developers and local farmers that have successfully adapted their businesses.
A full day workshop on carbon farming is for those considering their options, covering:
- Managing on-farm emissions
- Opportunities for sequestration in soil and
vegetation - On-farm energy management
- Farm efficiencies and productivity gains
- Market access opportunitiees
