Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their pre-school-aged children along to a “mossie” themed story and activity time at Kyogle library on Wednesday, 11 December at 10.30am.
Library staff will read Jack and Angie Beat the Bite to the children, who will also be encouraged to join in “mossie” playdough and colouring activities.
Jack and Angie Beat the Bite is an entertaining story about two youngsters who love playing in, and exploring, the great outdoors while staying safe from mosquito bites.
The story educates young children about the health risks of mosquito bites and the four things they can do to keep themselves and their families safe from mosquitoes – spray up, cover up, screen up and clean up.
Bookings are not necessary, just come along to the library on Wednesday morning.
