Kyogle’s Australia Day celebrations will held at the Kyogle Amphitheatre Park and will get underway at 9am with the Kyogle Lions Club serving up a free traditional Aussie morning tea of billy tea and damper.

The official ceremony will start at 10am and will include the presentation of the Australia Day Awards and a Citizenship Ceremony.

Australia Day Ambassador and celebrity chef Lyndey Milan OAM is scheduled to deliver the Australia Day address.

Ms Milan is a familiar face on television and in print, has been instrumental in changing the way Australians think about food and wine via her nine best-selling cookbooks, eight TV series and influence as former Food Director of the iconic Australian Women’s Weekly.

For those wanting a swim after the Australia Day celebrations, entry to the Kyogle pool will be free on the day.
