From giant pumpkin weigh-ins, local markets and food stalls, live music, kids activities, competitions, and plenty of good old-fashioned country fun — there’s something happening all day for the whole family.

The action kicks off in Stratheden Street, Kyogle at 8am with the arrival of the giant pumpkins and watermelons.

Then throughout the day there will be a classic car and bike display, judging of the home gardener competition, the Young Tacker Parade, and from 10.45am the presentation of the giant pumpkin and watermelon winners.

There will also be live music, a watermelon eating competition at 2pm and the River of Origin Golden Gumboot Tossing Competition from 2.30pm.

Once all the fun winds up, head to the Kyogle pool where the inflatable activity centre will be set up and there will be free entry to the pool from 3pm.
