Due to heatwave conditions predicted for Monday, Kyogle’s Australia Day festivities will now be held at the Kyogle Memorial Institute Hall and not Amphitheatre Park as originally planned.
The celebrations will get underway at 9am with a free traditional Aussie morning tea of billy tea and damper.
The official ceremony which will include the presentation of the annual Australia Day Awards, will start at 10am.
A free barbecue lunch served by the Lions Club will follow.
For those wanting a swim after the Australia Day celebrations, entry to the Kyogle pool will be free on the day.
