Kyogle and District Business Awards
Local business operators are being encouraged to enter the 2017 Kyogle and District Business Awards.
Organised by the Kyogle and District Chamber of Commece, the awards night and gala dinner will be held on 22 July at the Kyogle Bowling Club.
The awards showcase business excellence and diversity in the Kyogle Council local government area.
Awards will be offered in 11 categories:
- Best small business (less than 10 people)
- Best large business (more than 10 people)
- Best new business (operating less than four years)
- Tradesperson of the Year
- Young Entrepreneur (18-35 years)
- Employee of the Year
- Customer Service
- Community Service Award
- Primary Producer (new category)
- People's Choice Award
- Overall Business of the Year
According to 2015 Young Entrepreneur winner Tim Hoffman of O&H Holden, the business awards are great for business!
"Nominating your business in your desired category is a great way to gain exposure for your business," he said.
"It took me all the way to the state finals in Sydney."
Nominations for all but the People's Choice Award close on 26 May 2017. The chamber is encouraging businesses to nominate themselves or an employee. Nomination forms are available from Chamber of Commerce secretary Jeannine Smith phone 6632 2657 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The People's Choice Award allows local people to vote for their favourite business. Nomination/voting forms are available from Kyogle business houses, including Kyogle Council or can be downloaded by clicking here. Simply fill in the form and return it to the business you are voting for by close of business 2 June.
