Community Managed Evacuation Centres
Kyogle Local Government Area Community Managed Evacuation Centres are now all staffed with Kyogle and Wiangaree OPEN AND ACTIVATED and ready to accommodate community members.
People are encouraged to register that they are safe through the Red Cross website Register.Find.Reunite https://register.redcross.org.au/ or at any evacuation centre.
Evacuation centres are places of last refuge and people are encouraged to shelter with friends and family if possible.
Residents are strongly urged to self-evacuate before they are cut off by flood waters and shelter with friends and family, and as a last resort, go to their nearest Community Evacuation Centre.
