Video showcases development of outdoor gym and community mosaic

A new video is now available on YouTube showcasing the development of the Kyogle Accessible Outdoor Gym Equipment and Community Mosaic.

The video records the efforts of the Kyogle Ability Links team and participants to install outdoor accessible gym equipment in Anzac Park, working in partnership with Kyogle Council and funded by a NSW Department of Sport and  Recreation grant.

The participants also made a mosaic displaying their varied views on exercise, which has been installed on the pathway between the gym equipment.

The video shows scenes from the public opening on the 30 June 2016, including footage of the Kyogle Council Mayor Cr Danielle Mulholland and Lismore MP Thomas George in wheelchairs cutting the ribbon and exercising on the new equipment.

It was a fun opening day with more than 50 local community members attending the official ceremony then enjoying a barbecue along with live music. View our video (only 5 minutes!) produced by RealArtWorks, and join in supporting and encouraging inclusive local communities by clicking here.
