Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP)
Pedestrians form the largest single road user group. Most individual trips, regardless of the type of transport used, begin and / or finish with a walk section, making walking a major element of all travel.
Kyogle Council is committed to providing long term planning for pedestrain access and mobility, to promote walking and cycling as desirable for short trips and to link public transport services and community facilities.
Prepared by Council staff with joint funding between the Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA) and Council, the Kyogle Council Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP) identifies the pedestrian routes of most significance to the community and provides a strategy for the enhancement of those routes.
The Kyogle Council Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP) was adopted by Council at the Ordinary Council Meeting, held Monday, February 16, 2009.
