Water supply interuption

Council is finalising repairs to the broken water main at Don Gully Oval, Kyogle.
Due to the amount of main that had been drained, homes in the affected area may encounter discoloured water for a short period this afternoon (Wednesday 30 August) and tonight.
If this continues please call Council to let us know where the issues are being encountered within the water reticulation system.
Council staff would like to thank residents for their help and patience while the main was repaired.
Scheduled works that were to occur in Geneva Street and Edward Lane Kyogle will now not start until after 9am tomorrow (Thursday 31 August 2017).
Residents in Geneva Street from Crockfords Lane to Hill Street including Hill Street and Edward Lane will be affected.
There will be traffic interruptions at the intersection of Edward Lane, Geneva Street and Groom Street while the water main is cut-in to the existing main.
Interruptions will be kept to a minimum and Council staff will work with the public to get people around the work site.
Once again, Council would like to thank residents for their cooperation, patience and understanding while this essential work is being undertaken.
