Do you have a Vision of Village Life?

Kyogle Council is calling for expressions of interest from people who would like to join its village-based advisory groups.

The advisory groups will provide community input to Council on its Visions of Village Life project which will develop master plans for the villages of Woodenbong, Old Bonalbo, Bonalbo, Tabulam, Mallanganee and Wiangaree.

Each of the six master plans will provide a blue print for the future development of the villages and will include projects relating to Council functions including stormwater, flooding, Crown reserves, footpaths and cycleways, parks and gardens, community buildings, town streets, water and sewerage, cemeteries, waste, pools and recreational facilities.

Each plan also will consider community and place making provisions that contribute to the sense of place that are a vital component of village life.

Written expressions of interest to join the advisory groups should be emailed to au or sent to the General Manager, Kyogle Council, PO Box 11, Kyogle, NSW, 2474 by 4pm Thursday 28 September 2017.

All expressions of interest should include why you would like to join one of the advisory groups and what you have to offer the advisory groups in terms of experience and skills.
