Council Departments

Council departments are as follows:

GENERAL MANAGER
Mr Arthur Piggott.

The General Manager is responsible for the organisation and operations management, managing council relationships, financial management, human resources management and public relations management.

CORPORATE & COMMUNITY SERVICES
Director - Mrs Carol O'Neill

This Department is responsible for finance and administration, human resources, information technology, plant and depots, purchasing, quarry operations, community services and customer service.

PLANNING & ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES
Director - Mr John Hession 

This Department is responsible for planning, environmental control, health, building, community services, emergency services and facilities maintenance.

TECHNICAL SERVICES
Director - Mr Frank Winter

This Department is responsible for the construction and maintenance of roads, bridges and drainage systems, water and sewerage supply and treatment, projects services and asset and design services.
