Grieves Crossing on Gradys Creek Road - near the Risk Public School has deteriorated following recent flooding and inundation of the structure. The bridge had been programmed to have the existing timber piers replaced with steel piers in the last quarter of this financial year but the work has been brought forward and will commence immediately weather permits. Until such time as the works are complete a 10t load limit and 20km/h speed limit will be imposed on this structure.

The bridge is closed Monday through to Friday (not including public holidays) between the hours of 8:30am and 2:30pm to enable works to be carried out. The closures will not interfere with the school bus schedule. Works will conclude Wednesday, May 22, 2013 (weather permitting).

An alternate route is available during work hours for all vehicles via Simes Road→Forest Drive→Lynches Creek Road.
