Futures Committee - Kyogle LGA

The Futures Committee - Kyogle LGA was established as a Committee of Council in August 2007 following on the great work of the Sense of Place Advisory Committee.

The Futures Committee meets four times each year : February, May, August and November.

The responsibilities of the Futures Committee are to :

1. Recommend to Kyogle Council pathways to deliver community and economic development initiatives

2. Recommend to Kyogle Council the distribution of funds under the Futures Funding program.

Submissions for the Futures Funding program are available for village and local government area projects and close on the last Friday of September each year. An additional funding round may be offered if there are available funds. Applications are considered by Council at their December and May Ordinary Meetings, following recommendations from the Futures Committee.
